Our class meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10:00am to 12pm, and our calendar runs concurrent with the school year. Our '24-'25 class year begins on September 4th and runs through April 30th '25. Each class participant receives a workbook for the current book of the bible we are studying. The workbook contains home study with questions for you to complete on your own for each lesson and the lesson closes with a commentary. Each week at class you will participate in a small group discussion of the completed lesson and a large group teaching. From time-to-time lunchtime fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class

CBS '24-'25 The book of Matthew
September 4th '24 to April 30th '25: Do you ever wonder if God has deserted you when He sits in silence in the face of your requests? God's people also wondered this after centuries of silence. However, we will discover as we travel through the gospel of Matthew that God had not forgotten His people nor has He forgotten us. God's silence during the period before Jesus' birth was merely a precursor to the revelation of His amazing redemptive plan. As we read through the pages of Matthew together, we will see Jesus Christ revealed as Israel's long-awaited King and Messiah, and His coming to earth as God in the flesh will remind us of His deep love for us. Jesus' death, resurrection and ascension remind us that the Lord Jesus will always be with us, even to the end of the age, and his commission to His followers is still his mandate to us today-- "Make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19-20).
